This unit continues the study of traditional Chinese materia medica
introduced in CM Pharmacology 1 and examines the features of the
main therapeutic substances in remaining twelve major herb
categories. Studies include identifying additional 194 traditional
Chinese medicinal substances. Please note; of these 194 medicinal
substances a total of 144 are studied in class and the remaining
50 are rarely used medicinals requiring self directed study. their
characteristics, functions, main therapeutic applications, dosage
range and any cautions or contraindications.
