Introduces the basic pathological processes operating in the body and the ways in which disease may result from interaction between injurious stimuli and cells of the body. Basic pathological processes of response to injury, growth abnormalities, toxicology and microbiology and their characteristic diseases are studied in lectures and practical laboratory sessions.
