Students are required to undertake thirty hours of clinical observation, half in external naturopathic clinics and half in the Southern School Student Clinic, during which students may present as patients. The unit serves as an introduction to the operation of naturopathic clinics from the perspective of the client and the practitioner. An introductory lectures and a debriefing seminar is used to ensure students have appropriate guidelines and the opportunity to discuss issues arising.
