In order to graduate from the course, all students must pass the
exit examination. This provides a final evaluation of a student?s
ability to perform competently as a CM practitioner. It also provides
an opportunity to assess a student?s ability to integrate the many
concepts and skills taught throughout the course. The examination
is problem-based and students are expected to perform as closely
as possible to real-life encounters. The inclusion of external
examiners in the assessment process serves to ensure objectivity
and that these dimensions are reflected in the examination. This
Examination is composed of two parts, one being generically
related to diagnostic and patient management skills synonymous
with all CM modalities, the other specifically relates to the
therapeutic skills of Chinese herbal prescribing and Acupuncture.
