Introduces the study of the principles of chemistry as applied to biological systems. Atomic theory, the Periodic Table and chemical structures, behaviour and bonding are discussed. This unit provides foundation knowledge for studies in clinical nutrition, biochemistry and drug and herbal pharmacology.
Exemptions given for students who have done year 12 Chemistry.
