Unit Description
This unit provides theoretical and practical training in the fundamental skills required to safely and accurately prepare and dispense Chinese herbal formulas. These include the ability to identify herbs, prepare and process herbs, read and accurately dispense a prescription, deal with clients, manage a dispensary and understand the legal and ethical issues associated with dispensing. A large component of this subject is practically orientated.
