| This unit provides practical training in the fundamental skills
required to safely and accurately prepare and dispense Chinese
herbal formulas. This experience may be at external clinics
operated by registered Chinese medicine practitioners. Practical
experience includes the ability to identify herbs, prepare and
process herbs, read and accurately dispense a prescription, deal
with clients, manage a dispensary and demonstrate compliance
with the legal and ethical issues associated with dispensing. |
