Apply First Aid (HLTFA301C) or Perform CPR (HLTCPR201B)

Apply First Aid is a short course available to students, graduates, practitioners and the general public. You will learn:

• Your responsibility as a 'first aider'
• CPR
• How to respond to emergencies, cuts and breaks and other incidences such as suspected heart attack and stroke

Assessment includes an online component of 2-6 hours and 5.5 hours of onsite training which is held at our SSNT campus.

Apply First Aid is required for practitioners to join key industry associations and to gain practitioner insurance and legally practice. The certificate is valid for three years.

After you have successfully completed the course, you need to complete a CPR update every year until your Apply First Aid Certificate is due for renewal.  The Perform CPR course (CPR Update) is conducted for the first 3.5 hours of the Apply First Aid training.

2012 Dates for onsite training are:

• Saturday 21st January - 10am - 4pm
• Saturday 3rd March - 9am - 3pm
• Saturday 23rd June - 9am - 3pm
• Saturday 6th October - 9am - 3pm
