Naturopathy
Naturopathy focuses on treating the underlying causes of disease by assessing and treating the patient as a whole.
Health and wellbeing are affected by multiple external and internal factors, some of which lead to functional disorders and chronic disease. The naturopath's role is to educate the patient, develop preventative practices and reduce the incidence of relapse.
The study of naturopathy focuses on nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, flower essences and naturopathic diagnostic techniques such as iridology. Naturopaths understand the traditional use of remedies as well as recent biomedical research.
